The Live Yourself Better approach recognises that in order to function at your best, you require an understanding of and commitment to nourishing your body. You will be supported to implement realistic changes, and to be able to live you life free from fad diets and unecessary restictions.
Movement will be incorporated into your daily life, in a way that is enjoyable, interesting and won't feel like a chore. Live Yourself Better exercise is based on the things that you enjoy and are able to do on a regular basis. Functional movement and resistance training will be incorporated into your routine to improve daily life, endurance and metabolic rate.
The Live Yourself Better approach will support you to overcome barriers, and to ensure that your routine is sustainable and incorporates elements that will improve your daily life and overall health. This will decrease your chance of preventable diseases and promote a healthier way of living, for the rest of your life.

Perimenoupause & Menopause Coaching
I can support you during this important time in your life. As a perimenopause and menopause specialist personal trainer, I understand the considerations that must be made when training women who are perimenopausal, menopausal and post-menopausal. I will work with you to help you to establish meaningful lifestyle changes at this time of transition, and to help you to ensure that you are taking care of yourself, maximising the health benefits available to you, and most importantly enjoying your life.

Personal Training Sessions
I will come to meet you at home, at the local park, at your place of work, or online. Each session lasts for 60-minutes, including a 15 minute cooldown and a catch-up (or, if you're short of time, I offer a 30-minute session).

As a CIMSPA-certified pregnancy and postnatal personal trainer and a mum-of-5, I understand the importance of taking care of your body during pregnancy and beyond.
I also understand how difficult it can be to find the time for self care, and how prioritising your wellbeing can feel overwhelming.
I am here to help you to make realistic, enjoyable and sustainable changes that will help you to feel healthier, more energised, and able to cope with the demands of pregnancy and motherhood.

Hi, I'm Tonia. I'm a CIMSPA-certified personal trainer, and a busy mum-of-five. I understand that it can be difficult to find time to take care of yourself.
I also understand how to help you overcome time and energy hurdles so that you can be the best version of YOU.
A purely aesthetic approach to fitness leads to unhealthy obsessions, restricted ways of living and short term solutions, which only last for as long as the restrictions are in place.
My Live Yourself Better approach has been developed to ensure that your lifestyle changes are enjoyable, manageable and long term.
I prefer to focus on fitness goals, health goals or body composition, keeping away weight-based goals and instead working with you to create realistic, enjoyable and lasting changes.
I will help you to develop trust in your own body and to find enjoyment in physical exercise whilst improving your strength, endurance and overall fitness.
I am also a CIMSPA-certified perimenopause, menopause, pregnancy & postnatal trainer, and I am able to work with you to create healthy changes during this important time in your life.
I am also a certified nutrition and mindfulness coach, and I bring this into my practice, taking a holistic approach to lifestyle fitness.
In addition, I believe in the reduction of loneliness and isolation through exercise and I am available to hire as an exercise buddy and for walk and talk, either for individuals or community groups.

You explained everything really well and the reasons for training in a particular way. You were very patient with questions and I can’t wait to start the programme this week. You were very aware of my capabilities and adapted the exercises to ensure that I was comfortable but with the aim of meeting my goals and making them achievable.
If you had told me this time last year that I would be healthier and that my blood pressure would be under control I would have laughed. Honestly, it never seemed like I would be able to live in a different way. I'm so busy all the time, and my job is a massive stress. I guess I could have found all the excuses in the world until I met you Tonia and you showed me how to use my time in the best way and how to make small changes that turned into big changes.
